The Mistlight Cardigan is worked top down, with shoulder pieces cast on separately and shaped with increases for the back neckline. The body is worked back and forth in the stitch pattern, and the sleeves are picked up and worked in the round.

How it is knitted
The back is worked in two shoulder pieces with shaped neckline, then joined on the needle.
The fronts are worked separately from the shoulder, with increases for the neckline and armhole.
The pieces are joined for the body, which is worked flat following Chart A.
The sleeves are picked up around the armhole and worked in the round following Chart B, with short rows at the top.
The button bands and neckline are worked last.
