The Holdfast Bucket Bag is worked in the round from the bottom up. The base is two identical circles, joined by knitting through both layers. This gives a firm, double-layered bottom. The body is worked seamlessly in the round, with eyelets and a drawstring at the top.

Slik strikkes den
Bunnen er to like sirkler. Hver sirkel starter med 8 masker og økes annenhver omgang.
De to sirklene strikkes sammen gjennom begge lagene, som gir en fast bunn i to lag.
Veska strikkes rundt i halvt linmønster (half linen stitch) for den tette nedre delen.
Midtpartiet strikkes i nettmønster med kast og en felling fra 3 til 2 masker.

How it is knitted
The bottom is two identical circles. Each one starts with 8 stitches and grows with increases on every other round.
The two circles are joined by knitting through both layers, which makes a firm, double base.
The body is worked in the round in half linen stitch for the closed lower section.
The middle section is worked in a mesh stitch with yarn overs and a 3-to-2 decrease.
Eyelets for the drawstring are worked at the top.
